Disney on ice Kovu

Just browsing on eBay today and look what popped up. A DISNEY ON ICE KOVU. Needless to say he was bought in the blink of an eye! He looks like he's been well loved, and his tail is a bit matted, but nothing a little cleaning can't fix!
He is surprisingly colour accurate, and he looks very well made too! And I especially love his whiskers!
He looks, to me like a much bigger version of the Trudi Kovu, one that I have yet to acquire.

I have no idea when this plush was made, although his tush tag may have some clues...
If you have any information on him, I'd appreciate it ever so much!
